6. Encourage members of tourism so that their activities are environmentally balanced, economically viable, socially just, culturally rich and politically legitimate.
Supported in three dimensions of Sustainable Tourism (environmental, socio-cultural and economic), Pousada Corais e Conchas acts promoting several initiatives such as: commitment to legal requirements, preservation of fauna and flora, selective collection and encouragement of local culture.

The good practices already used in the Pousada are:
- Garbage collection and composting which minimized the dumping of solid waste by approximately 70%,
- Environmental education to employees through training,
- Environmental education to guests through informative,
- Program to reduce the washing of towels,
- Encouraging the participation of suppliers and service locations,
- Encouraging the community on garbage collection,
- Social destination of recyclable waste,
- Correct allocation of potentially polluting waste: lamps, batteries,
- The use of electronic lamps in the Pousada,
- All bungalows with saving energy card,
- The use of recycled and environmentally correct paper for printing.
